Canada Nickel Company Announces Assay Results from the Deloro Property

Canada Nickel Company Inc. has announced a dosage results at its Deloro property, which confirms the second significant discovery of the properties newly acquired by the company.

The drilling was highlighted by hole DEL22-01 which intersected 487 m of 0.25% nickel (Ni) with a higher grade section near the bottom of the hole intersecting 0.28% Ni over 91 m and the hole DEL 22-09 which intersected 393 m of 0.26% Ni.

Deloro Nickel Property

The Deloro property is located 9 km southeast of Timmins and contains an ultramafic target that measures 1.4 km north-south by 450 m east-west based on total magnetic intensity (TMI). Ultramafic lithologies and nickel mineralization were found throughout the target anomaly.

Hole DEL22-01 was drilled into dunite on the northern half of the target and was drilled to the southwest. The hole remained largely in dunite over a total strike length of 487m grading 0.25% Ni, with a higher grade section near the bottom of the hole intersecting 0.28% Ni over 91m.

DEL22-09 stuck in the dunite and the hole intersected 393 m at 0.26% Ni, including 51 m at 0.28% Ni. The hole terminated in peridotite.

DEL22-06 stuck in peridotite and whose composition changed from dunite to peridotite and intersected a total of 227 m of mineralization – 74 m grading 0.2% Ni from 54 m and 141 m grading 0, 21% Ni from 140 m including a 12 m long core of 0.33% Ni and 0.15 g/t Pt+Pd from 248 to 260 m. This high-grade Pt+Pd in ​​the dunite exhibits similar characteristics to the high-grade core of the Crawford East Zone.

DEL22-07 glued in dunite, on section with DEL22-01, 100 m to the west. DEL22-10 was embedded in dunite and remained in dunite for the majority of the hole, except for minor pyroxenite and mafic dykes. The hole intersected 79 m of 0.25% Ni at 124 m downhole and 87 m of 0.25% Ni at 235 m, before intersecting intermediate volcanic rocks on contact.
